The Computer Based Test (CBT) is the first part of the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration process. It is designed to assess the theoretical and professional knowledge of international nurses who wish to practice in the United Kingdom. The CBT evaluates a candidate’s understanding of safe and effective nursing practice based on the NMC standards of competence.
